The Protect AR Rights coalition is made up of organizations and everyday Arkansans, who have all come together to advocate for a people-powered Arkansas.

In Arkansas, when state lawmakers won’t act for the people, then citizens have the right to petition their fellow Arkansans and present ballot initiatives for policies that really matter, like raising the minimum wage, expanding healthcare options, and establishing term limits for politicians.

Protect AR Rights’ proposed Arkansas Ballot Measure Rights Amendment will safeguard the state’s ballot initiative process and protect Arkansans’ right to:

• Propose ballot measures

• Collect petition signatures

• Sign petitions

Our goal is to get this proposed measure on Arkansas’ November 2026 ballot. We need 91,000 approved petition-signatures to make that happen, so Arkansas voters can have a say.

Simply put, when politicians won’t act for the people, then the people must be able to act for themselves.
