60th Anniversary Gala & Symposium
Join us in celebrating 60 years of fighting for social and economic justice in Arkansas through respect for human dignity, diversity, empowerment and an inclusive, fair and transparent political process!
You're invited to the combined anniversary celebration of the Arkansas Public Policy Panel's 60th and our sister organization the Citizens First Congress' 25th!
We'll be throwing an evening Gala on Friday, December 1st as well as hosting a two-day Symposium that Friday and Saturday at the Four Points by Sheraton in Little Rock. Look for registration and more details in the coming weeks.
It all started in 1963, when a group of brave mothers began traveling our state together, talking with people in churches and civic groups to help build acceptance school integration and to promote understanding among various ethnic and religious groups. Read more about the Panel's history here.

Please send your nominations by November 13. The Panel Board and Congress Steering Committee will jointly elect the honorees.

making community activism succeed? Who is making the biggest difference for your work, or your issue?
Please nominate people who:
1. Exhibit commitment to social justice with significant contributions of time, money, ideas, etc.
2. Are working with the Panel and/or the Congress or one of our member and partner organizations
3. Are helping engage more people in the movement for social justice so that change is more powerful, more responsive to communities and more sustainable.
